Getting Kids to Love Eating Veggies Part 1
January 23rd, 2008
Sick of fights at meal times?
Kids won’t eat their vegetables?
Dr Oz says there’s actually a biological reason why kids don’t like eating vegies.
Whether you believe that or not, there’s got to be easier way to make meal times happy and still make sure your kids are eating well. Jerry Seinfeld and his wife Jessica have three young children and Jessica was tired of mealtime fights but refused to give up on getting her kids to eat vegetables.
Her solution? Puree vegetables and sneak them into their favorite dishes like:
- chicken nuggets (broccoli or any vegetable)
- mac and cheese (sweet potato, carrot - anything orange colored)
- chocolate brownies (spinnach and carrot)
- chocolate chip cookies (chickpeas)
The ultimate taste test - kids love it! Click here to get the recipes and try them out yourself.

I don’t remember it, but when my sister and I were little, my mom said that she told us that broccoli was a flower and not a vegetable and for some reason we would eat flowers, but not vegetables. It must have worked because broccoli is still one of my favorites.
